Angela Alés is a graduate of The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Arts, in New York City and holds an MFA from the Miami International University of Art and Design. Her work has been shown in more than 30 collective and individual exhibitions in the US and Central and South America. She is an accomplished educator with 20 years of professional teaching experience. She specializes in teaching individuals and groups of all ages drawing and painting as well as intensive portfolio development classes designed to prepare students for entry into university programs. Her courses and seminars encourage students to develop new ways of thinking and create art that goes beyond what the eye sees.
